The Galaxy Note 8-related rumors and leaks are popping up constantly, and a new image has just surfaced in China, it’s showing off all the color variants of Samsung’s upcoming phablet. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll be able to see eight different color variants of Samsung’s flagship phablet. As you can see, the front side of the device is not pictured here, but the front side of the Galaxy Note 8 will be black either way, no matter what color variant you get, as was the case with the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus.

The company is set to reveal its latest device at an event in New York on March 29th, finally ending months of speculation about what could be the biggest and best Samsung smartphone to date.

Expected to feature more powerful hardware than any previous device, the Galaxy S8 should also be Samsung’s most striking handset, with an all-new design dominated by a glorious edge-to-edge display.

However new reports have now also claimed that the device will come with some nifty accessories – and some that will look rather familiar to iPhone 7 users.

We’re about to see a variety of Android device makers introduce their best new smartphones models at MWC 2017, but many of these devices will have a huge disadvantage when it comes to competing against the best of the best. According to current rumors, some of the top Android devices that are about to be unveiled will not be powered by flagship 2017 mobile processors.

The Galaxy S8 (April) and the iPhone 8 (September) will feature chips that aren’t just faster than their predecessors, but are also a lot more efficient. While Apple never announces its silicon innovations ahead of the products they’re supposed to power, Samsung does it with some regularity. Right on schedule, the company just unveiled the mobile chip that’ll be found inside the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

As we get closer to the unveiling of the Galaxy S8, we’re hearing more positive things about it – like The Guardian reporting that it has new information that seems Samsung keeping the 3.5mm headphone jack on the Galaxy S8, and more.

They add that the Galaxy S8 will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, something they’ve heard from “multiple sources”, and that it does indeed rock that beautiful “all-screen” design that we’ve been reporting. Inside, we are to expect Qualcomm’s powerhouse Snapdragon 835 processor, USB-C connectivity, microSD card support, and more.

If all the leaks are true, there’s a lot to be excited about in the Samsung Galaxy S8. One of the big additions is Bixby. The new virtual assistant is even tipped to be accessible on all native apps. Now, a fresh leak gives an insight on how Bixby will work inside the Galaxy S8 camera app.

According to Sammobile, the device will give camera access to Bixby, and it will be able to perform a visual search or even text recognition. On the Samsung Galaxy S8, the camera app will integrate a Bixby button, which the user can activate to do a visual search on the thing that the camera is pointed towards.

The report states that ‘Bixby will analyse the image, and identify objects and text. It will help you search for that object, or use optical character recognition to process any text you point the phone at’. Bixby is a result of Samsung’s acquisition of Viv Labs- a company that was responsible for building Siri.

Adding more features has always been Samsung’s approach with new flagships, but as the company is no doubt aware after the Galaxy Note7 literally burned out, everyone will be watching closely to see what new safety measures it includes on the S8.

What exactly can we expect from the S8? Here’s what we’re hearing from the rumor mill.

You were probably hoping the whole no headphone jack thing was just a 2016 fad, right? Sorry, but Sammobile thinks it’s here to stay, as Samsung is reportedly preparing to release its Galaxy S8 sans jack. The S8 is also expected to ship with a USB Type-C port for charging and listening to music. The Note 7 featured a USB-C port, too, but we all know where that phone ended up. (The trash.)

Samsung Electronics Co plans to equip its next Galaxy S smartphones with a Siri-like digital assistant, seeking to make a comeback after the global debacle that precipitated the death of its flawed Note 7 lineup.

Samsung, which last month acquired US-based artificial-intelligence software company Viv Labs Inc, said the Galaxy S8 slated for next year will come with AI-enabled features “significantly differentiated” from those of Apple Inc’s Siri or Google, executive vice president  Rhee In-jong told reporters.

Those services now offer up potentially useful information from the weather to flight times based on user activity.
